‘Shahin’ to vie at I Am filmfest in UK

Iranian movie ‘Shahin’ has made its way to The I Am Film Festival London in the UK.

In its ninth international appearance, the film will be screened at the main section of the 2021 edition of the festival.

Directed by Salar Tehrani, 'Shahin' is about a policeman and his wife.

Gelareh Abbasi, Alireza Kamali-Nejad, and Mehran Ranjbar have played three of the leading roles in the flick.

Set to go on screen at the 2021 Bharat International Film Festival in India, the film has previously participated in a number of international festivals, including the Fajr Film Festival in Iran, the Pigdon Street International Film Festival in Australia, and the Asian Film Festival, Los Angeles Hollywood in the US.

“The official nominees of this unique London UK Film Festival will be an Elite gathering of visionaries in London at the I AM Film Festival Event Dates Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th March 2021 to announce and celebrate each winner,” the official website of the third edition of The I Am Film Festival has announced.
